Changing the faucet may sound spectacular, but it’s not that difficult to do it. If you’re replacing an old fixture, make sure that the new one has the same holes as the old one. Taking a picture of what’s under the sink will help you remember how everything was put back together. Drain the faucet, then turn off the water and follow the manufacturer’s directions for installation.
Stopping the Drips

To avoid losing any minor pieces during the disassemble process, first, turn off the water supply to the sink and plug the drain with a rag. A new rubber washer is required to seal the valve on a compression faucet, while a replacement O-ring can be used to stop a leaky waterless faucet.
Replacing a Showerhead
Changing the showerhead is a simple task that has a large payoff. After you remove the old showerhead and put tape on the base of the new one, screw it in. Don’t slam it shut too hard. If you like, you can buy a second shower arm and install it yourself if you prefer.
Maintain your Home’s downspouts
Inspect the outside of your home and the foundation for downspouts connected to the gutters that aren’t close to your dwelling. The water will start trickling and seeping into your basement if they don’t fix this problem immediately. As a result, make sure it’s clean of trash.
